At this time of year and with the colder weather upon us, the wind and cold tends to penetrate the nape of the neck (referred to as the wind gate) and affect our heads which is how some of us end up with colds and flus. This highlights the importance of wearing scarves or high neck clothes during the colder months to protect that area of our body from chill and wind.
